Non-lethal modification of
TT pistol.
TT-T pistol (
manufactured by OAO Degtyarev plant) is an adaptation of legendary Soviet pistol for non-lethal ammunition. The main task of TT-T development was to keep "historic fairness" and to make minimal adjustments to the original design. This makes possible to consider TT-T the most authentic non-lethal modification of TT pistol.
Surfaces of the frame and slide are kept non-changed (no finishing or new blueing) so the adapted pistol has collector value aside of the main features of firearm. For the production of TT-T pistols designed in 1933 (TT-33) were used.
Particular features of TT-T: calibre 10х28, original barrel from which rifling grooves were eliminated. There is one pin (obstacle) in the bore preventing to shoot with hard object. The design of TT-T barrel is similar to barrels of Grand Power T12 and Steyr M-A1 pistols.
